Ardmore – 21 Year Old 1977 - Centenary 100th Anniversary - Limited Edition is a single malt whisky from Ardmore (Highland). Aged 21 years, bottled at 43% ABV, 70cl.
Ardmore Distillery was established in 1898 by Adam Teacher, son of William Teacher, in the Parish of Kennethmont, Aberdeenshire. It remains one of the few Highland distilleries to produce a predominantly peated single malt, and has long served as the heart of the Teacher's blended Scotch whisky range.
This bottling was released to commemorate the distillery's 100th Anniversary, spanning 1899 to 1999, under the designation 'Centenary Single Malt'. Distilled in 1977 and bottled at 21 years of age, it was described on the label as a Specially Selected & Bottled Limited Edition, and bears the signature of Calcott Harper, Distillery Manager. Presented in a black hinged wooden gift box.
