Arran 1999 Icons of Arran - The Eagle is a single malt whisky from Lochranza (Island). Bottled at 46.00% ABV, 70cl. Matured in bourbon barrels & sherry hogsheads.
This was the fourth in the Icons of Arran series, chosen to represent a pair of Golden Eagles known to nest above Lochranza.
One of two malt whisky distilleries owned by Isle of Arran Distillers, Lochranza was the first to be opened in 1995. The distillery's flagship single malt brand is the Arran label and although it now only distils a non-peated whisky, it has historically produced peated single malt as well.
