Auchroisk – 16 Year Old - The Manager's Dram 2015 is a single malt whisky from Auchroisk (Speyside). Aged 16 years, bottled at 55.6% ABV, 70cl. In 1972 Justerini & Brooks built Auchroisk Distillery to produce malt whisky for their blends, with production beginning in 1974, the distillery had a total of 8 stills. Located in Banffshire, Speyside, the water source used was from Dorie's well which was found to be similar to the water used at Glen Spey, another Justerini & Brooks distillery. The first bottling of single malt under the brand Singleton was released in 1986 and at the start of the 21st century, Auchroisk was released as a Flora and Fauna bottling followed by Rare Malts in 2003. The distillery is now part of Diageo after the merging of Grand Metropolitan and Guinness. This 16-year-old single malt from the Auchroisk Distillery is part of The Manager's Dram series exclusively for Diageo employees (formerly United Distillers). It was bottled in November 2015 at 55.6%. The Diageo Manager's Dram bottlings, each selected by distillery managers, are bottled at natural cask strength.
