Balblair is owned by the InverHouse distillers, which was bought by Robert ‘Bertie’ Cumming in 1948 after years of staying under the radar. Balblair is also committed to reducing its ecological footprint and has changed from oil to gas, perhaps marking a new era for distilleries around the world, now who wouldn’t want to take part in this historic and remarkable change?. Once opened the aromas of citrus, malt chilly spice, and vanilla, the palate is peppery, citrus, butterscotch, and oak with a medium long finish of oak, pepper, and mocha.
