Brora – 30 Year Old Natural Cask Strength is a single malt whisky from Brora (Highland). Aged 30 years, bottled at 55.7% ABV, 70cl. Matured in bourbon & sherry casks.
This 2007 release was the sixth official 30-year-old bottling of Brora from Diageo.
A storied distillery in the Sutherland area of Scotland. Despite having closed in 1983, it developed cult status for the high quality single malt it had produced, particularly a peated style between 1969 and 1973. Such was its popularity, it was eventually rebuilt by Diageo and opened again in 2021.
