Clynelish – 2013 Thompson Bros 12 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Clynelish (Highland). Aged 12 years, bottled at 50.5% ABV, 70cl. Matured in re-charred Hungarian oak cask.
This release was produced to mark the 25th anniversary of the Thompson family at the historic Dornoch Castle.
A malt distillery in the Highland region of Scotland and part of the Scotch whisky holdings of Diageo. The current distillery was built in 1967 and despite its long associations to the Johnnie Walker blends, it has one of the oldest single malt brands as well.
