Clynelish – Select Reserve 2014 Release is a single malt whisky from Clynelish (Highland). Bottled at 54.9% ABV, 70cl. Clynelish is one of the Four Corners distilleries of Johnnie Walker. The original Clynelish Distillery was founded by the Duke of Sutherland in 1819 adjacent to the present operational Clynelish Distillery which was built in 1967. In 2002, Clynelish finally released an official bottling, the 14-Year-Old, after mostly being used as a filler for many blends, including Johnnie Walker. Diageo announced plans for a £30m expansion in 2014; however, since then, nothing has come of it. Diageo's 2014 Special Release includes this Highland malt, which is comprised of a combination of five wood types and five vintages. 2,964 bottles have been produced.
