Forester Barrel Reserve 96 1L is a whisky. Bottled at 48% ABV, 1Litre. In Louisville, Kentucky in 1870, George Garvin Brown filled and sealed a glass bottle of bourbon for the first time striving for consistency and quality in all future bottlings. He named that spirit Old Forester after Dr. William Forrester who worked as a pharmaceutical salesman: the second ‘r’ was dropped from the surname when he retired. During Prohibition, the company now known as Brown-Forman were able to legally produce alcohol for medicinal purposes. This allowed sales to stay steady during this period and helped the huge popularity boost after the act was repealed. Please note minor creasing to carton.
