Glen Garioch – 1995 20 Year Old Formosa Spirits Salon is a whisky from Glen Garioch (Highland). Aged 20 years, bottled at 57% ABV, 70cl.
Glen Garioch is the most easterly distillery in Scotland and despite being one of the oldest, it has never been afraid of innovation. It has used the heat of distillation to grow tomatoes, and rumour has it kiwi fruit!, and it was the first distillery to use North Sea gas. It was also among the first to release a Virgin Oak whisky as well as bottling its core range at 48% ABV with no chill filtration.
This is a rare Taiwan exclusive bottling of Glen Garioch, which was available exclusively via Spirits Salon.
