Glendronach – 11 Year Old 2014 - Cask Strength PX #259 - Distillery Exclusive is a single malt whisky from Glendronach (Highland). Aged 11 years, bottled at 58.6% ABV, 70cl.
Glendronach, located near Forgue, is one of the biggest names in Whisky. It was previously owned by the BenRiach Distillery Company and was founded by James Allardes in 1826. Previous owners include Teachers and Sons, who put in four new stills during their time of ownership. The distillery went through a challenging period being mothballed in 1996, but reopened in 2002 with Allied Distillers at the helm. The distillery, like Benriach, still uses its own floor matings and looks like it is here to stay since it is now protected as a category B-listed building.
A Distillery Exclusive from GlenDronach, hand-filled straight from the cask, at the cask strength of 58.6% ABV.
It was distilled on the 15th of October 2014, aged in Pedro Ximenez Puncheon #259, and bottled in April 2026.
