Glendronach – 33 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Glendronach (Highland). Aged 33 years, bottled at 40% ABV, 70cl. Matured in oloroso sherry butts. Matured in a legendary batch of oloroso sherry casks, this Glendronach was released in 2004 to great acclaim. The panel of expert judges at the San Francisco Spirits Competition gave this Glendronach a Gold Medal when tasted blind. A malt distillery located in Forgue by Huntly in the eastern Highland region. As of 2016 it is American-owned by the Brown-Foreman Corporation through its Benriach Distillery Company subsidiary. Famed for its preference for sherry cask-ageing, it has long been an established single malt brand.
