The "aged over 30-year-old" Glenglassaugh is actually a 34-year-old single malt, aged initially in a refill sherry hogshead and finished in a first-fill Sauternes cask.
A malt distillery located outside the village of Portsoy in the eastern Highland region. Part of The Benriach Distillery Company group, it has been owned by the Brown-Foreman Corporation in the US since 2016. Despite a turbulent early history, it has become an well-established brand in recent years.
