Glenmorangie – 1971 The Culloden Bottle & Framed Print is a single malt whisky from Glenmorangie (Highland). Bottled at 43% ABV, 70cl. Glenmorangie is Gaelic Gleann Mòr na Sìth "vale of tranquillity" or Gleann Mór-innse "vale of big meadows" and is located in Tain, Scotland. The distillery is owned by The Glenmorangie Company, which is a subsidiary of Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy. There is another world-acclaimed distillery under this umbrella…Ardbeg, of course. Glenmorangie's most famous characteristic is that it boasts the tallest stills in Scotland. Why is this important? Well, at 8m tall and a neck of 5.13m, these are the secrets to producing an extremely light and delicate taste. You can't mention the distillery without having to pay tribute to “The Sixteen Men of Tain”, who worked tirelessly in the early years for the distillery to be such a success. This bottling commemorates the 250th Anniversary of the Battle of Culloden and was released in 1996. This was the final Jacobite bottle that was led by Bonnie Prince Charlie. Distilled in 1971, this is one of only 2500 bottles released in association with The National Museum of Scotland. Frame dimensions: W - 48cm x H - 41cm

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
