This is the 2017 sequel to the popular 2008 release of virgin American oak-aged Astar.
Astar means "journey" in Gaelic, and here it refers to the journey of perfection that Glenmorangie has embarked upon to discover the perfect casks to mature whisky.
A Highland malt distillery located near Tain along the Dornoch Firth. It was founded in 1843 and is today owned along with Ardbeg by the French multination, LVMH. The distillery's primary focus is its single malt brand, renowned for being produced using Scotland's tallest pot stills.
