Glenmorangie – Burgundy Wood Finish 12 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Glenmorangie (Highland). Aged 12 years, bottled at 43% ABV, 70cl. Matured in côte-d'Or wine cask finish. One of the earliest examples of the distillery's pioneering wood finish programme, this was launched in 2003 and was the last of a quartet that already included the Port Wood Finish from 1994 and the Sherry Wood Finish and Madeira Wood Finish releases from 1996. This, along with the Madeira finish were discontinued in 2007, with the port and sherry versions repackaged as part of the new core range. A Highland malt distillery located near Tain along the Dornoch Firth. It was founded in 1843 and is today owned along with Ardbeg by the French multination, LVMH. The distillery's primary focus is its single malt brand, renowned for being produced using Scotland's tallest pot stills.
