Glenmorangie – Dornoch is a single malt whisky from Glenmorangie (Highland). Bottled at 43.00% ABV, 70cl. Matured in amontillado sherry butt finish. A limited edition bottling of Glenmorangie, released to raise awareness for the conservation of the Dornoch Firth. Glenmorangie has partnered with the Marine Conservation Society to preserve this waterway. Launched in 2014, this was originally only available at the distillery or at travel retail outlets. The whisky was initially matured in American bourbon casks, then partially finished in Amontillado sherry casks. A Highland malt distillery located near Tain along the Dornoch Firth. It was founded in 1843 and is today owned along with Ardbeg by the French multination, LVMH. The distillery's primary focus is its single malt brand, renowned for being produced using Scotland's tallest pot stills.
