Glenmorangie – Milsean is a single malt whisky from Glenmorangie (Highland). Bottled at 46.00% ABV, 70cl. Matured in re-toasted wine cask finish.
Released in 2016, this was the seventh release in Glenmorangie distillery's Private Editions range. Drawing its name from the Gaelic word for "sweet things," Milsean is a dessert-y Glenmorangie initially matured in bourbon casks, then finished in re-toasted wine casks.
A Highland malt distillery located near Tain along the Dornoch Firth. It was founded in 1843 and is today owned along with Ardbeg by the French multination, LVMH. The distillery's primary focus is its single malt brand, renowned for being produced using Scotland's tallest pot stills.
