Glenmorangie – Port Wood Finish 12 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Glenmorangie (Highland). Bottled at 43.00% ABV, 70cl. Matured in port cask finish. One of the earliest examples of the distillery's pioneering wood finish programme, this was launched in 1994 and later followed by a Sherry Wood Finish and the Madeira Wood Finish in 1996. A Burgundy Wood Finish completed the quartet when launched in 2002. This expression was packaged like this until 2007 when it was rebranded as The Quinta Ruban in a core range relaunch. Not stated on the domestic release, the US packaging confirmed the continuation of these as 12-year-old expressions. A Highland malt distillery located near Tain along the Dornoch Firth. It was founded in 1843 and is today owned along with Ardbeg by the French multination, LVMH. The distillery's primary focus is its single malt brand, renowned for being produced using Scotland's tallest pot stills.
