Glenmorangie Port Wood Finish 1990s (70cl, 43%)

Glenmorangie is one of the best selling single malt whiskies in the world, founded in 1843 but believed to be distilled on the Morangie farm since as early as 1703 it has gone from strength to strength to this current day. The Port wood finish has been discontinued to be replaced with the Quinta Ruban which has resulted in the Port wood finish expression becoming quite desirable. Once opened the aromas of berries, sawdust, pineapple, and milk chocolate, the palate tastes are dessert wine, pepper, orange peel and marzipan with a medium long finish of orange peel, almonds and oak.
