Glenmorangie – Spìos is a single malt whisky from Glenmorangie (Highland). Bottled at 46.00% ABV, 70cl. Matured in rye whiskey casks.
The ninth release in the Glenmorangie Private Edition series, Spìos is Gaelic for "spice." The first single malt to be exclusively matured in American rye whiskey casks, this was bottled in 2017.
A Highland malt distillery located near Tain along the Dornoch Firth. It was founded in 1843 and is today owned along with Ardbeg by the French multination, LVMH. The distillery's primary focus is its single malt brand, renowned for being produced using Scotland's tallest pot stills.
