Highland Park – The Autumn Blaze - Inaugural Release (70cl, 59.8%)

Highland Park – The Autumn Blaze - Inaugural Release is a single malt whisky from Highland Park (Islands). Bottled at 59.8% ABV, 70cl. Highland Park is known for being the most Northern Scotch Whisky Distillery in the world. It is situated on the outskirts of the biggest town in Orkney 58.9847°N. It is so far North it is almost in the Arctic circle. To give you an idea, it is on the same latitude as Anchorage, Alaska. The distillery has been distilling in the same site since 1798 where the founder, Magnus Eunson's, original illicit still was at High Park. They smoke their own barley from over 4,000 year old peat which has been cut from the Hobbister Moor only seven miles from the distillery. This is the first release from The Final Embers. A single-cask Scotch whisky, bottled once and never again. Drawn from a solitary cask, only 220 bottles of The Autumn Blaze will ever exist. Bottled at natural cask strength of 59.8% ABV, with no chill-filtration and no added colour. This bottle comes with a metal collector's card, your certificate of authenticity and a lasting keepsake for this release.
