Kavalan – 2006 Selection Peaty Cask is a single malt whisky from Kavalan (Taiwan). Bottled at 53.2% ABV, 70cl. Matured in refill ex-peated cask.
The first commercial single malt whisky distillery in Taiwan, built by the King Car Group in 2005 and producing its first spirit the following year. The distillery takes its name from the indigenous Kavalan people of Taiwan's Kabalan Plain and the brand was launched in December 2008.
