Kilkerran 2004 Single Cask 20 Year Old - 20th Anniversary is a single malt whisky from Glengyle (Campbeltown). Aged 20 years, bottled at 51.10% ABV, 70cl. Matured in bourbon barrel finish. This Kilkerran was distilled in June 2004 and matured in a single madeira cask for 10 years. It was then transferred to a refill bourbon barrel to mature for a further 10 years. It was finally bottled in September 2024 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the opening of Glengyle distillery, and was made exclusively available at the distillery shop. A Campbeltown malt distillery that originally operated between 1872 and 1925. The site was acquired by J&A Mitchell in 2000 and re-opened four years later after extensive renovation and rebuilding. As the distillery name was still trademarked by a former owner, its single malt is sold as Kilkerran.
