From the Isle of Arran’s southernmost distillery, Lagg’s Inaugural Release 2022 Batch #2 showcases a bold and experimental spirit. Crafted with heavily peated barley – reaching 50ppm phenol – and peat sourced from across Scotland, this whisky reflects a dedication to innovative production. Matured initially in bourbon barrels, it’s finished in Ex-Oloroso Sherry casks, imparting a rich fruitiness to its complex character. The result is a robust and flavourful single malt, representing the very first expressions from this promising new distillery.
