Lindores Abbey MCDXCIV Commemorative Release

Lindores Abbey Distillery stands as a modern tribute to its historic namesake, an 800-year-old Tironensian abbey in Newburgh, Fife – a site intrinsically linked to the earliest written records of Scotch whisky production in 1494. This commemorative release marks the distillery’s first general offering, crafted with spirit flowing since 2017 and bottled in July 2021. Matured in a combination of wine barriques, bourbon barrels, and sherry butts, the whisky embodies the light, delicate character typical of the Lowland style. Expect a nuanced flavour profile reflecting its unique heritage and careful maturation at 46% ABV.
