Lochside – 1981 Connoisseurs Choice is a single malt whisky from Lochside (Highland). Bottled at 40% ABV, 70cl.
A former Highland distillery that was constructed by Joseph Hobbs in 1957 within the structure of a former brewery, first opened in 1786. Only operational until 1992, it mostly produced malt whisky for blending although a Lochside brand was briefly marketed. It also produced grain whisky in its early years.
