Longrow – 21 Year Old 2023 is a single malt whisky from Longrow (Campbeltown). Aged 21 years, bottled at 46% ABV, 70cl. Found in one of the most remote parts of Scotland, the Springbank Distillery is still family-owned. Situated on the western parts of Scotland on the Kintyre Peninsula, it is owned by J & A Mitchell & Company. They also own Glengyle Distillery, William Cadenheads (the oldest independent bottler) and several other blended scotch labels. They are tough cookies down in this neck of the world where they are one of the last surviving producers of single malt whiskies in Campbeltown. They were licensed in 1828 and at one time the area had over thirty active distilleries. The distillery produces both peated and unpeated expressions under three distinct brands. Springbank, Hazelburn and Longrow. This 21-year-old Longrow 2023, is a limited edition from Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown. The whisky has been matured in bourbon and sherry casks which leaves a very warm finish.
