North British – 1978 Rare Auld 31 Year Old is a single grain whisky from North British (Lowland). Aged 31 years, bottled at 55.4% ABV, 70cl. A grain whiskey distillery located in Edinburgh and co-owned by by both Diageo and the Edrington Group through a joint venture called Lothian Distillers. While most of its stock is detined for blends, some official North British single grain whiskey has been bottled over the years.
