Old Pulteney 12 Year Old 1990s (70cl, 40%)

This is a Highland region single malt whisky from Wick launched in 1997. It kept its aesthetic until 2012 when it was rebranded – they kept the boat, of course, sticking to its ‘Maritime malt’ theme. The maritime theme is also reflected in its taste with a subtle coastal quality and a more straightforward saltiness.
