Port Charlotte PC7 is a powerfully elegant, heavily peated single malt from Bruichladdich, crafted to honour the historic Lochindaal distillery – originally known as Port Charlotte – which ceased production in 1929. Distilled to 40ppm, the spirit from Bruichladdich’s tall stills delivers a robust character imbued with Islay’s signature smoky intensity. This third release in the Port Charlotte range embodies the spirit of the island, reflected in its Gaelic name, ‘Sin An Doigh Ileach’ – “It’s the Islay way, and may it never change”. Bottled at 61% ABV, expect a bold and complex flavour profile representative of traditional Islay whisky making.
