Springbank – 2006 Local Barley 11 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Springbank (Campbeltown). Aged 11 years, bottled at 53.10% ABV, 70cl. Matured in bourbon casks. This 2017 release of Springbank Local Barley was distilled using Bere barley from Aros Farm and the spirit aged in 100% bourbon casks. A revered single malt distillery in Campbeltown that has operated since 1828. It is today owned by J&A Mitchell & Co who produce three single malt styles there. These are its flagship two-and-half times distilled Springbank, a heavily-peated malt known as Longrow, and the triple-distilled Hazelburn.
