This second batch release of cask strength Springbank 12-year-old was a vatting of 60% fresh and 40% refill sherry casks.
A revered single malt distillery in Campbeltown that has operated since 1828. It is today owned by J&A Mitchell & Co who produce three single malt styles there. These are its flagship two-and-half times distilled Springbank, a heavily-peated malt known as Longrow, and the triple-distilled Hazelburn.
