St Magdalene (also known as Linlithgow) was a Lowland single malt distillery situated in the historic town of Linlithgow, West Lothian. It was one of the last working Lowland distilleries of its era before closing in 1983, and the site has since been converted to residential use.
This bottling was released by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society under Society Cask No. 49.3. The whisky was distilled in November 1979 and bottled in August 1991 at a cask strength of 63% vol (110.2° proof), having matured for approximately 11 years. Bottled in Leith, Scotland, at 75cl.
