Talisker – 8 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Talisker (Island). Aged 8 years, bottled at 91.4% ABV, 4/5 quart. An incredible old bottling of Talisker single malt from Berry Brothers & Co (the name for Berry Bros & Rudd prior to 1943). Produced for the US market, this was likely bottled in the early 1940s, making this some of the earliest whisky produced by the distillery following its switch from triple-distilling in 1928. A single malt distillery on the Isle of Skye and for many years the only producer on the island. Part of the Diageo portfolio, its single malt has become one of the company's best-selling brands in recent years and it is also an important contributor to blends such as Johnnie Walker. Condition: Label: staining and browning across lower portion, edges lifting. Fill level: liquid at lower shoulder level.
