Teaninich – 13 Year Old - Manager's Dram 2022 is a single malt whisky from Teaninich (Highland). Aged 13 years, bottled at 52.9% ABV, 70cl. Teaninich Distillery was founded by Captain Hugh Munro on his estate in 1817. Munro and his brother John were landlords in a region in which the Clearances hit hard. The distillery stayed in the family until it was passed through several owners throughout the 19th century. In 1992, Teaninich was bottled as a 10-year-old for the Flora & Fauna series. Plans were unveiled that a second separate distillery was going to be built, adjacent to Teaninich with a total of 16 stills, producing 10m litres each year. Now a part of Diageo since 1997, Teaninich has significantly expanded over the years with another six stills and eight washbacks being installed in 2014. This Teaninich was released as part of the Manager's Dram series. The bottles were released exclusively to employees of what is now known as Diageo. Each release was selected by distillery managers within Diageo and bottled at natural cask strength. This 13-year-old release was bottled in November 2022 at 52.9%.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
