Wire Works Over Smoke (70cl, 53.10%)

Wire Works Over Smoke is a single malt whisky from White Peak (England). Bottled at 53.10% ABV, 70cl. Matured in 3 x smoke-treated STR casks. This first batch of Over Smoke was the distillery's second ever release. Released in 2022, this lightly-peated single malt was distilled in 2018 and matured in three smoke-treated STR (shaved, toasted and re-charred) casks. An English whisky distillery founded in 2016 by husband-and-wife team, Max & Claire Vaughan and the first of its kind to be located in Derbyshire. It produces both peated and non-peated single malt which is bottled under the Wire Works brand name in homage to the history of the distillery building.
