Wolfburn – No.128 Small Batch Release is a single malt whisky from Wolfburn (Highland). Bottled at 46.00% ABV, 70cl. Matured in first-fill bourbon casks.
Released in 2017, this lightly-peated Wolfburn was the distillery's first Small Batch Release bottling, matured in slightly unusual 100-litre (close to the size of a quarter cask) first-fill bourbon casks.
A Malt whisky distillery in the northerly reaches of Scotland's Highland region. It was established in 2013 and was constructed upon the same site that the original Wolfburn distillery had stood in the early 19th century. The name is derived from the nearby water source.
