This Madeira cask-finished Wolfburn was the fifth of its Small Batch Release whisky, matured for 5 years in first-fill bourbon casks then a further 6 months of maturation in fresh Madeira hogsheads.
A Malt whisky distillery in the northerly reaches of Scotland's Highland region. It was established in 2013 and was constructed upon the same site that the original Wolfburn distillery had stood in the early 19th century. The name is derived from the nearby water source.
