Woodford Reserve’s Master Collection is a fine bourbon, this specific Batch Proof is even more of a celebration of the proprietary process of blending barrels into a batch and then bottling the whisky at its actual proof, straight from the barrel. A very generous 62.9% ABV makes this bourbon a nice strong option, packed with flavour and long finish.
Woodford Reserve Master’s Collection Batch Proof is one of the most high-end American bourbons to date. The nose is very strong, immediately hitting with caramel, brown sugar, and vanilla, with smoky undertones thanks to charred oak casks. The taste is sweet and delicate – creamy caramel with menthol notes and a long, pleasantly warm finish.
