Arran 23 Year Old Explorers Series - Volume Four ‘Drumadoon Point' is a whisky from Arran (Islands). Aged 23 years, bottled at 49.5% ABV, 70cl. Situated in the Firth of Clyde, the island of Arran was once a hotbed of illicit distillation and smuggling. Eventually though the dreaded excise men got the best of Arran’s renegade stillmen, and the island was without a working distillery from 1837. That all changed in 1995 when the Arran distillery at Lochranza started production. Although it is a relative youngster, Arran’s investment in quality casks has paid dividends, and its popularity continues to soar like the Golden Eagles that nest nearby. This quick success, combined with high visitor numbers at the Lochranza distillery, have enabled the company to construct another distillery at Lagg, on the south of the island, that will focus on creating peated whisky. The Explorers’ Series is a collection of limited edition expressions that celebrates the outstanding scenic beauty and diversity of nature on the Isle of Arran. Volume Four - Drumadoon Point Please note peeling to tax label Please note due to the nature of these tins the bases are easily scuffed & dented. We cannot guarantee these items are brand new.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
