Bimber – London Single Malt The 1st Release is a whisky from Bimber (London). Bottled at 54.2% ABV, 70cl. Proudly celebrating his family’s roots in moonshine production - and even using the Polish word for moonshine, ‘Bimber’ - Dariusz Plazewski set up his London-based distillery in 2015 with Ewelina Chruszczyk after emigrating from Poland. Bimber is one of only a handful of working distilleries in London and of even fewer in the whisky-making industry. They pride themselves on a natural environment using their own designed wooden washbacks which are left a little dirty so that the bacteria and yeast left behind enhances the next spirit. This is the inaugural release laid down in May 2016 and known as ‘The First’. Only 1000 bottles were released and sold out in three hours. Please note some wax seals are prone to cracking in varying temperatures and transport conditions, therefore - as stated in our terms and conditions - we do not accept liability should these seals be found to show signs of splitting on delivery.
