Bimber Shoulders Of Giants Pablo - The Artist UK Exclusive is a whisky from Bimber (London). Bottled at 58.2% ABV, 70cl. Proudly celebrating his family’s roots in moonshine production - and even using the Polish word for moonshine, ‘Bimber’ - Dariusz Plazewski set up his London-based distillery in 2015 with Ewelina Chruszczyk after emigrating from Poland. Bimber is one of only a handful of working distilleries in London and of even fewer in the whisky-making industry. They pride themselves on a natural environment using their own designed wooden washbacks which are left a little dirty so that the bacteria and yeast left behind enhances the next spirit. The Shoulders of Giants releases not only pay homage and celebrate the achievements of national heroes – they also demonstrate the growing maturity and complexity of Bimber’s single malt whiskies, which are proving to be increasingly versatile in a wide range of cask types and styles.
