Colonel E.H. Taylor Four Grain Straight Bourbon is a bourbon whiskey from Buffalo Trace (Kentucky, USA). Aged 13 years, bottled at 50% ABV, 75cl. Matured in new American oak casks. This Four Grain Bourbon meaning after the mandatory 51% corn, the mashbill is made up of 3 other grains - rye, wheat and barley are the most common - rather than the usual one or two. Distilled in 2005, the rarer 2018 release of the Four Grain was bottled at 13 years old and is the last of the stock. A historic Kentucky distillery and the oldest still operating in the state. It is the flagship production facility of the Sazerac Company and in addition to its eponymous straight bourbon, also produces a host of brands such as Pappy Van Winkle, Col. E.H. Taylor, Eagle Rare, Weller and Sazerac Rye.
