The distillery of Old Pulteney is on the North Coast of Scotland in a quiet town called Wick. Known as the Maritime Malt, the distillery was founded in 1826 by James Henderson.
Old Pulteney 17-year-old got a very high score in the whisky bible - 96.5! All this in the same year as receiving an award for the best whisky in the world.
