Old Pulteney – Pentland Skerries - (1L) is a single malt whisky from Old Pulteney (Highland). Bottled at 46% ABV, 1L. This travel retail exclusive from Old Pulteney was named after 2 lighthouses that were built on Pentland Skerries by Thomas Smith to facilitate the shipping to Pentland Firth. Robert Stevenson the famous engineer then replaced these lights with taller towers. The fixed lights were no longer suitable for the great landfill and then were replaced by installation of group flashing lights, only 1 light is still operational. Matured entirely in ex Spanish sherry casks. This 1L bottling is a 46% ABV.
