Wolfburn – Langskip (70cl, 58%)

Wolfburn – Langskip is a single malt whisky from Wolfburn (Highland). Bottled at 58% ABV, 70cl. The most northerly whisky distillery on the Scottish mainland is situated in Thurso in the county of Caithness and Scotland's Highlands whisky region. Wolfburn named after the watercourse that supplies the distillery was originally owned and operated by William Smith in 1821 before operation ceased in 1837. Laying dormant until 2012 when a private consortium called Aurora Brewing formed to rebuild Wolfburn 350 meters from the original distillery ruins. Whisky production resumed in 2013 after 157 years. One of the most Northern distilleries on the UK Mainland, Wolfburn is located in Thurso. This was bottled at 58% in 2018 this was matured in first-fill bourbon casks.
