GlenAllachie – 15 Year Old is a single malt whisky from GlenAllachie (Speyside). Aged 15 years, bottled at 46% ABV, 70cl.
Built and founded in 1967, The GlenAllachie malt whisky distillery was overseen by Mackinlay McPherson. A few years later in 1985 it was bought and mothballed by Invergordon Distillers. 1989 saw it bought by Campbell Distillers who looked to breathe new life into it. Its most recent history sees the master Billy Walker at the helm with Graham Stevenson and Trisha Savage by his side. Famous for their single cask releases and their sherried expressions, this distillery is one of the most exciting ones of modern times.
This bottling is from their core range, aged for 15 years and bottled at its natural colour.
