Alberta Premium Rye is a Canadian rye whisky in a large 1.75 litre bottle. It draws on the flavour of prairie rye and careful barrel ageing, and has a golden amber colour.
The nose is sweet and aromatic, with banana, toffee and light spice. The palate is medium in weight, mellow and slightly smoky, with a lively woody edge, and the finish carries a hint of hot cinnamon spice.
