Amahagan World Malt Whisky Edition No.2 Red Wood Wine Finish (70cl, 47%)

Amahagan Edition No.2 is a Japanese blended malt in a 70cl bottle at 47% ABV. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour. The Amahagan series was created around the art of blending. This edition builds on Edition No.1 with a further maturation in red wine casks, giving a reddish, glossy brick colour. In the mouth, raisins and berries from the wine sit alongside the malty character of Nagahama, with sweetness from the grain and a moderate astringency. A refreshing note of orange peel follows.
