Amahagan World Malt Whisky Edition No.3 Mizunara Finish (70cl, 47%)

Amahagan Edition No.3 is a Japanese blended malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 47% and finished in Mizunara, the Japanese oak. It is the third release in the Amahagan world malt series, which centres on the art of blending, and it builds on Edition No.1, a blend of overseas malt and malt from the Nagahama distillery. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour, with a pale amber appearance. The nose combines the sweet malt of Nagahama with warm oranges and red apples. As it opens, the scent of Mizunara wood becomes softer, and the end brings a woody character like sweet caramel.
